Thandeka Moyo-Gwete

Dr Moyo-Gwete is a Senior Medical Scientist at the National Institute for Communicable Diseases. Her research interests lie in understanding the nature of broadly neutralizing antibodies that target HIV in the context of an HIV vaccine; focusing mainly on structural characterization of antibodyantigen binding. More recently, Thandeka has been involved in SARS-CoV-2 serology studies. She is passionate about research as well as teaching and mentoring the next generation of scientists.
