Tanvier Omar

Qualifications: MBBCh, FCPath (Anat), MMed, Dip HSE. Joint staff for 26 years, Principal Pathologist, NHLS and Wits, Faculty of Health Sciences, Division of Anatomical Pathology. My research interests include infectious diseases and related cancers HIV, T B, and cervical cancer and have resulted in 46 peer-review publications. I have participated in several successful multicentre grant applications and am actively involved in collaborative research with other divisions in the university, and local and international research organisations. Currently, I am a co-investigator on 6 multicentre research projects.
