Mandeep Kaur

Prof Kaur is at the School of Molecular and Cell Biology. Her research is focused on understanding the complexities of cancer biology using bioinformatics, molecular biology, and cell biology based approaches. She has published over 60 research articles in international peer-reviewed accredited journals and has many granted patents to her credit. Her research has been funded by the NRF, SAMRC, STINT- Sweden, and Bill & Melinda

Gates foundation. Her current projects include organoid generation from colorectal tissues, targeting cancer drug resistance, RNA-Seq data generation and analysis, drug discovery, assay development, and biomarker discovery
