Clement (Clem) Penny

I have a background in developmental biology with research focuses on the molecular basis of cancer and on stem cell biology. My Molecular Oncology Research Group situated in the Department of Internal Medicine, is currently researching the molecular biology of colorectal cancer in young Black South Africans. Some other activities of mine, include the ethics and the biobank ethics committees; and I collaborate in the academic representation of the confocal microscopy core facility.
